OLLIE & CLARE
Born and raised in the village, Ollie has been a familiar face at Astonbury since the festival first began. In recent years, he’s been joined on stage by his partner Clare, with the pair performing an engaging mix of acoustic covers. Their set blends pop, folk, and country favourites, bringing a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere that’s become a much-loved part of the festival.
THE MYSTERIES
The Mysteries are a three-piece acoustic band who play upbeat pop and soul songs that everybody loves, but aren't often covered, with acoustic guitar, double bass, percussion, glockenspiel and lots of vocal harmony. From plan B to Elvis, Kylie to Otis.
EGGS BENEDICT
Eggs Benedict are a four-piece band who met at school and have spent the last year turning their shared tastes in indie, jazz, and alternative music into a laid-back sound that’s a bit jazzy, a bit funky, and totally danceable.
MEGACOOL
Ben Machin heads up this Bristol based band, bringing you pop melodic guitar-based music with some electronic aspects. Themes of love, loneliness and the complexities of all kinds of relationships…what more could you want on a sunny afternoon?!
WEEKEND WARRIORS
Spotted for their talent at the Wallingford Blues and Jazz festival, The Weekend Warriors are new to the Astonbury scene. This up and coming, young four-piece band will delight with a mixture of your favourite covers and killer originals.
FROM THE ASHES
Back again, by popular demand, ‘From the Ashes’ bring you a vibrant mix of timeless classics and modern hits, offering a little something for everyone. Their set includes tracks few other cover bands would dare to attempt, including bangers from ABBA and R.E.M. With guest guitarist Dave Powell to get you on your feet and dance away to the setting sun.
THINGS
Expect to shake your ass uncontrollably whilst in the presence of this band, perhaps wear something comfy that doesn't chafe. Wallingford icon, Maff, brings you this group of exceptionally talented musicians playing some soul, funk and groove classics.
CHEAP SUITS
Homegrown talent, Cheap Suits’ return to delight you once more with their own material, including singles ‘Half a Heart’, tracks from their EP Kiss Up and perhaps even a debut track or two. Front Row magazine wrote “If you’re looking for the next breakout band to follow from the ground up, Cheap Suits should be top of your list”
THE BIG CHEESE
The Big Cheese are a 5-piece covers band - a loud, rocky, indie covers band, playing bangers by The Cure, Pulp, Britney Spears, Bowie & Aha. They love playing live and thrive off crowd energy, so come join them! First time at Astonbury and they are delighted and honoured to be here!
